Bob Travels

“Words are inadequate,” Bob says, “to describe the difference my trips to the Holy Land has made in my life. It has transformed how I preach, how I read the Bible, even how I relate to God.”

Will Bob Speak for You?

It all depends. Will your event take him away from his church family at Cobblestone? Will you make it possible for his wife, the lovely Robin, to come, too? Is your event being held at a really scenic spot that he’s never visited before? These are things you must ask yourself. And, when you know the answers, you can ask (email him here).

Some of his favorite topics:

“Dancing with God,” a four- or six-part series of 45-minute talks from the Bible on cultivating a constant, creative life of prayer. Bob has presented this primarily for church retreats and ministers’ retreats.

“American Idols,” a single presentation or series of talks from the Bible based on Bob’s breakout book of the same title. Most appropriate for mature Christian audiences.

“God on Trial,” three apologetic addresses drawn from some of Bob’s work with Josh McDowell: “The Bible: Fact, Fiction, or Fable,” “Christianity: Hoax or History,” and “Jesus: Lord, Liar, or Lunatic?”

“How to Fall in Love with God,” an eight-part series of 30-minute talks, a thorough and unique exposition of the book of Hosea.

“How to Hold Back from God,” a six-part series of 30-minute messages from the book of Malachi.
