BOB'S COACHING SERVICE

Bob’s extensive experience in Christian publishing and church leadership combine to make him in-demand as a coach for aspiring authors, church planters, and others in ministry. 

Bob offers two coaching options, which can be accomplished via face-to-face appointments, telephone conferences, or Skype teleconferences: 

• SIngle sessions as needed
​• Weekly sessions in twelve-week renewable terms

The coaching process begins with a single "diagnostic" session to identify your goals and determine the areas where coaching will best serve you.  The cost for this initial session is $95 (because every coaching situation is unique, the cost of subsequent sessions may be more or less, depending on the agreement between you and Bob). 

FOR WRITERS, areas often covered in coaching include: 

  • Guidance in identifying and overcoming specific writing weaknesses
  • Help in conceiving, developing, and testing a new project
  • Strategizing a path to publication 
  • Composing book proposals that will get an editor’s attention
  • Preparing to get the most out of writers’ conferences

  • ​Staying focused, planning work, managing time, meeting deadlines
  • Identifying problems with a work in progress and finding creative solutions to those problems
  • Getting regular, professional, constructive critique

FOR PASTORS AND OTHERS IN MINISTRY, areas often covered in coaching include: 

  • Strategizing a uniquely suitable vision and focus for a specific ministry
  • Short-range, mid-range, and long-range ministry planning and goal-setting
  • Discerning what changes are needed in ministry
  • Healing from hurts in ministry
